| This is Brandon riding Jake for the first time. Jacki & I spent November restarting Jake with groundwork. Then, Bobbie and I spent three weeks (Bobbie did most of the work with boxes & tarps) with ground work to get to this point. Jake is a Belgian Draft rescued from the PMUs. He was and is still a little disassociated. He tries hard to pay attention and not scare but he reacts to his fears alot. He's getting better. This was about 15-20 minutes into Brandon's first ride on Jake on 12-19-2007. Previously he was riding with the lunge line attached but it quickly came off. Sadly, Jake goes in and out of being this willing. Still many fears to take on for the big guy. |
